Clara Eroukhmanoff joined 91看片网 in August 2026 as Associate Professor in Political Science and Deputy Director of Scientific Affairs. Prior to 91看片网, she was a Senior Lecturer and Associate Dean for Research and Innovation at London South Bank University (2017-2026) and a Teaching Fellow at Royal Holloway (2016-2017). She obtained her PhD from the department of International Relations at the University of St Andrews and her thesis developed the notion of 'indirect speech acts' in the context of the securitisation of Islam in the US.
Her current research sits at the intersection of gender and foreign policy. She is interested in gendering key concepts in the field of IR and Foreign Policy; the interplay between the growth of international feminist policies such as Feminist Foreign Policy and the Women, Peace and Security agenda, and the anti-gender backlash and rollback of LGBTQIA+ rights; and the circulation of feminist ideas and concepts from the UK/US to France; the institutionalisation of gender in policymaking spaces.
Driven by feminist curiosity, Clara Eroukhmanoff is a passionate teacher who loves to deconstruct ideas with students and making things strange. She is currently co-investigator of the British Academy funded project 'publiSHE: empowering women's research voices' with LSBU and Middle East University (Jordan).
She also sits on the leadership Committee of , an organisation dedicated to creating a platform and solidarity network within the UK that fosters thought leadership, forges coalitions for change, and inspires a new generation of diverse professionals in Peace and Security.
